INTRODUCTION
The AFS spring vibration mounts are specially engineered to achieve low natural frequencies, ensuring a high level of vibration isolation. The new AFS LOW version has been developed to maintain this high acoustic performance while minimizing the overall height of the mount, making it ideal for applications with height restrictions.
Thanks to its reduced total height of 63.2 mm, the new AFS LOW occupies approximately 39% less space than the AFS + Sylomer® solution, which has a height of 103 mm. This reduction allows the integration of a spring-based isolation system even in projects where the structural floor thickness is a critical constraint.
Despite its compact design, the AFS LOW maintains a high deflection capacity and allows achieving natural frequencies below 6 Hz, providing a high level of vibration isolation.
INSTALLATION
For the installation of this mount, we recommend C-shaped profiles with dimensions 75/50/2 mm in galvanized steel. The 2 mm thick profiles provide optimal rigidity to the structure. More information in this link.
MAIN ADVANTAGES

WORKING RANGE AND PERFORMANCE
The AFS LOW mounts cover a wide load range, from 2.5 kg to 100 kg, and are designed to work with deflections up to 7–8 mm, allowing low natural frequencies.
Thanks to these characteristics, high isolation levels can be achieved, with natural frequencies even below 6 Hz.
