At AMC Mecanocaucho, we continue to expand our range of anti-vibration solutions to meet the specific needs of our customers. We are therefore pleased to announce the addition of a new mount to our family of marine mounts: the VD56 mount.
This mount has been specifically designed for marine engines, offering an optimal combination of vibration isolation, resistance to harsh environments and ease of installation in confined spaces thanks to its compact design.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
The AMC-Mecanocaucho® VD56 mount utilises the elastomer’s shear compression properties. It consists of two metal parts, allowing for installation via a screw at the top and a threaded hole for fixing to the chassis.
The AMC-Mecanocaucho® VD56 mount has a ‘V’-shaped design to achieve large deflections at low loads. This results in a low natural frequency, making it ideal for engines that operate predominantly at idle speed.
Each mount provides different stiffness values along the X, Y, and Z axes, enabling precise tuning of the suspended system’s natural modes to achieve optimal vibration isolation.
