New Akustik Pipe Maxi
These failsafe anti vibration mounts are used to reduce the structure borne noise created by the flow of liquids within pipes. This new version has the advantage of being pre-cut at different diameters that match usual standard pipe sizes.
The AMC-Mecanocaucho® AKUSTIK PIPE MAXI has been conceived to isolate piping in buildings. It is composed of Sylomer®, a microcellular polyurethane specifically designed for vibration isolation that is resistant to oil or diesel.
Technical characteristics
The Akustik Pipe Maxi follows the same simple but clever concept of standard Akustik Pipe clamps but covering a wide range of diameters with a single model. The Sylomer is already pre-cut at different standard pipe size diameters, so the user can easily remove the layers of smaller than required diameters.

The metal part is coated with an anti-corrosive treatment coating in order to withstand to arduous corrosive environments.
Reduction of noise and tonality
High vibration frequencies (100 to 250Hz) generated by flow of liquid, generate a disturbing low frequency noise or an uncomfortable tonality for human beings. This noise can be transmitted to the living or working spaces and can be very disturbing.

Applications
The assembly of these anti vibration mounts is very simple due to the easily removable Sylomer part and its two side tabs with holes. The pre-cut layers are also easily removable, making the installation very straightforward. The uncovered distance by the metal plate determines the preload of the Akustik Pipe Maxi, allowing the bolts to be tightened until the metal plate is firmly in contact with the base.
AMC-Mecanocaucho® type AKUSTIK PIPE MAXI are specifically designed for applications where rigid or flexible pipes must be isolated.
Moreover, these mounts assure the stability of the suspended pipes by limiting the radial deflection that can be achieved in any direction. The materials in which these mounts are made protect the AKUSTIK PIPE MAXI against aging and corrosion.
