The Vibration Isolator Pro Bluetooth Accelerometer is the sensor designed for use with the Vibration Isolator Pro app. Compatible with both iOS and Android devices, this equipment enables precise vibration measurements to identify the correct anti-vibration mount for your application.
The integrated accelerometers of your phone allow you to make an FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) measurement, but they are limited up to 50hz frequency range. This new device developed by AMC-Mecanocaucho, allows you to make vibration measurements up to 500Hz and have a direct connection with the AMC-Mecanocaucho engineering team, which will provide you technical assistance if you need anything else regarding the measurement steps, or if you have any question regarding the selection of the correct vibration isolator.
STEPS TO MAKE A VIBRATION MEASUREMENT WITH THE VIBRATION ISOLATOR PRO EXTERNAL ACCELEROMETER.
The application will guide the user along several steps in order to complete the analysis in an easy way.
- 1. Connect the accelerometer to your mobile phone, Android or iOS.
- 2. Fulfil the general data of the measurement like the type of machine, number of supports and take a photo of it.
- 3. Make two measurements in each support, one before the vibration isolator and other after it.
- 4. The application will provide you the FFT graph of the vibration measurement, vibration rms values in X, Y and Z axis and the current isolation level.
- 5. A complete report of the measurement will be sent to your email.
