Sylomer® is an anti-vibration solution with a wide variety of load capacities, thickness, economical and very effective. It is common for AMC Mecocaucho to include it in many its vibration isolators.

The sylomer® can be adapted to various constructions and functional techniques. It can be used as anti-vibration in constructions, anti-vibration support for machines, or even railways. The high elasticity of this anti-vibration solution makes it an excellent solution for isolating propagated noise from solid structures. As an example, the new floor of AMC-Mecanocaucho's offices is elastically suspended in this Sylomer® anti-vibration solution.

It’s worth mentioning the simplification in the technical planning provided by this material; this anti-vibration material provides great precision when calculating the elastic and dynamic behavior.

Dynamic and elastic loads are the two most important elements when selecting the sylomer® to be incorporated as a solution. Loads range from 100 Kg/m² to 1000 Ton/m² depending on the density of the sheet.

The sylomer® is validated with a dynamic pre-test by the institutes of:

• Federal Institute of Essays and Research. Arsenal, Vienna.
• Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics Stuttgart.
• Rhineland control centre. Environmental protection institute, colony.
