AKUSTIK+SYLOMER® ACOUSTIC HANGERS AND FLOATING FLOOR MOUNTS PRESENT ON BASTIAN ACOUSTIC INSULATION PREDICTION SOFTWARE.

BASTIAN is the software to calculate airborne and impact sound transmission between rooms in buildings and airborne sound transmission from the exterior. The calculations in BASTIAN are based on parts 1 to 3 of the European Standard series EN 12354, being adopted by the majority of the European countries as part of their national standards. Therefore, these calculation procedures form the common basis for the prognosis of sound insulation of buildings. BASTIAN can be applied to predict the acoustical performance between rooms in apartment and office buildings, between classrooms in schools, and between rooms in hotels or hospitals.

Since the creation of the Akustik+Sylomer® acoustic hangers in 2005, AMC-MECANOCAUCHO has developed more than 80 different acoustic hangers combining different metal parts for adjusting them directly to slabs or to different channels in different countries of the world.

In order to help acoustic consultants and specialists on the correct selection AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® has decided to incorporate his acoustic hangers and floating floor mounts, in Bastian, one of the most efficient software, to predict the sound insulation of buildings according to EN 12354.

Inserting the basic elements of your application the app allows you to select the correct solution according to your Budget or natural frequency requirement. The app will ask you basic technical information such as weight per sqm, distance between acoustic hangers / floating floor mounts and required natural frequency. Once this data is inserted the app will provide you a calculation, datasheets and videos of installation procedure.
