
NEW AKUSTIK+SYLOMER HANGERS FOR SUSPENDED CEILINGS ADAPTED FOR THE USA / CANADA MARKET
AMC-MECANOCAUCHO's ® Akustik + Sylomer® TYPE C and TYPE D acoustic hangers are designed to support loads from 5 to 75 kg (11 to 165 Lbs) per support for TYPE D hangers and 5 to 150kg (11 to 330 Lbs) for TYPE C hangers. They are connected sideways or vertically to beams or ceilings, as shown in the drawings below.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Akustik + Sylomer® TPYE C and TYPE D acoustic hangers are manufactured as standard with a defined Sylomer® density to suit point loads up to 75 kg (165 Lbs) for TYPE D and 150 kg (330 Lbs) for TYPE C. The natural frequency at their optimum load point is less than 8 Hz. These technical properties provide a high level of noise and vibration isolation. Its metal parts are coated to withstand corrosive environments.
The Akustik + Sylomer® TYPE C hangers are designed to fit around the 1 ½” x 1/2" CRC (Cold Rolled Channel), the metal channel is to be installed/inserted in between the “C” and the threaded rod. On the other hand, the Akustik + Sylomer® TYPE D hangers are designed for installations where the suspended ceilings are supported by cables.
These hangers are typically installed at certain distances from each other, but this distance can be adjusted to suit the load or frequency requirement of the application.
