AMC MECANOCAUCHO VIBRATION ISOLATORS PROTECT SENSITIVE EQUIPMENT OF THE ROCKET BALLOON PROJECT ACORDE
We inform you that AMC-MECANOCAUCHO has participated with our vibration isolators and together with companies and institutions, such as CTA, Tecnalia, Aernnova, and UPV/EHU in a space project of EHUSPACE from the school of engineers of Bilbao. We are referring to the project ACORDE (Altitude Cosmic Ray Detector) within the program REXUS/BEXUS, whose objective is the detection of cosmic rays in the flight of an aerostatic balloon.
The experiment was launched the 7th of October and reached more than 32 km. The vibration isolators remained intact after the impact upon its return. More info available on:
