
NEW AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® TYPE CB 76. A FAILSAFE VIBRATION ISOLATOR WITH VERTICAL SYMMETRIC STIFFNESS AND MULTIAXIAL SNUBBER.
Its design allows obtaining very similar tensile and compression stiffness values. This feature is particularly useful in those applications where vibration and transient forces come from various directions and constant stiffness is required in all of them. The metal parts are robust and, in addition, this type of support can be supplied with a washer that acts as a failsafe device to resist tensile forces. The empty air grooves designed in the piece, allow obtaining lower natural frequencies in the systems to be isolated by reducing the values of vertical and horizontal stiffness. Equipped with built-in axial and radial stops, these vibration isolators can provide high stability to the suspended elements, as they limit the lateral movement of the part.
The metal parts of the support are treated with a Zinc Nickel coating that, added to the rubber cover that covers them, allows them to have a high protection to the test chamber from salt spray and makes them useful for working in a large area. variety of environments.
TECHNICAL CARACTERISTICS
The vibration isolators AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® type CB-76 have a double-bonded design, which makes them suitable to withstand high dynamic forces. The dome-shaped rubber design of this vibration isolator allows progressive rigidity in the event of an overload. This fact allows to limit the movement of the suspended element. Symmetric stiffness is achieved using 2 pieces that are vertically opposite. One is installed supporting the load and the other is supporting the rebound forces.
