INSTALLATION OF FZH-SYLOMER® FLOATING FLOOR JACK-UP MOUNTS IN MONTPELLIER MUSIC SCHOOL
Inaugurated in 1886, became the National Conservatory of Music, Dance and Dramatic Art, provides initial and pre-professional training for young artists. Within the Boutonnet district, in the heart of the former Grasset maternity hospital, rehabilitated for the occasion and extended by a modern glass construction, the conservatory will benefit from a total floor area of nearly 9800 m2.
The architect Alain Bretagnolles (Architecture-Studio) designed the new conservatory which offers a plurality of spaces adapted to different practices:
- 13 music training rooms.
- 57 classrooms.
- 10 collective practice rooms.
- 7 dance studios.
- 1 studio dedicated to theatre.
- 1 studio for body arousal.
To cope with acoustic complexity of the building, AVA Acoustic was hired. Floating slabs with FZH-Sylomer® floating slab jack up mounts are used for slab decoupling.

AMC MECANOCAUCHO® follows up acoustic projects from project stage to installation. In order to simplify the positioning of the FZH-Sylomer floating slab jack up mounts, AMC-MECANOCAUCHO uses project Autocad files and positions the jack up mounts on the same Autocad file.
