
AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® INTRODUCES THE NEW CONE 17 VIBRATION ISOLATORS
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® type cone 17 vibration isolators are ideal for mobile applications for loads ranging from 60 kg to 350 kg. Its specific design allows these vibration isolators to provide two different vertical stiffnesses, thanks to the architecture of the rubber. This is particularly interesting for mobile applications where the vertical movement has to be controlled.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The design of these vibration isolators has been optimized using FEM in order to spread the tension of the compound homogeneously throughout the section of the vibration isolator.

The above architecture of the mount allows two vertical stiffnesses. This feature allows a better control of the vertical movement of the suspended element. These mounts are supplied with rebound and centering washers to limit movement in compression/traction. Like the rest of the AMC-MECANOCAUCHO conical vibration isolators, the horizontal stability is assured thanks to the parallel faces between the external and internal armours.

The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO cone 17 vibration isolators are manufactured in 3 standard rubber hardnesses to suit load ranges from 60 kg to 350 kg. load applications.
The metal parts are coated with Zinc Nickel coating in order to withstand to arduous corrosive environments.

APPLICATIONS
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® cone 17 vibration isolators are used on mobile applications where there is a limitation of space. Due to this fact the vibration isolators must be capable of controlling the vertical movement. Typical applications that match this requirement are for example, industrial vehicle cabins and engines, mobile HVAC equipment, generator sets, ventilation systems or pumps.
