Vibrations generated by the running gear, traction system, and onboard equipment can be transmitted through the vehicle structure to the floor and into the passenger compartment.
Elastic decoupling of the floor from the supporting vehicle structure helps reduce the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise. For this application, AMC Mecanocaucho offers FZ + Sylomer® Type C and FZ + Sylomer® Type T mounts, providing an elastic connection between the floor and the vehicle structure while supporting the required operating loads.
The system can be adapted according to the applied load, floor configuration, available installation height, and required level of vibration isolation.

FZ + Sylomer® Type C and Type T mounts are installed between the floor assembly and the supporting vehicle structure to minimize rigid transmission paths and reduce the propagation of vibration and structure-borne noise into the passenger compartment.
The Sylomer® elastic element allows the stiffness of the system to be matched to the applied loads and dynamic requirements of the installation, while the metal mount configuration facilitates integration into the floor structure.
Depending on the installation geometry and mounting requirements, the Type C and Type T versions provide different solutions for rail vehicle floor applications.
