The AKUSTIK 1 + SYLOMER® Acoustic Hanger is designed for the resilient suspension of acoustic ceilings using 12-gauge hanger wire. It can also be used to isolate suspended piping and mechanical equipment from vibration and structure-borne noise.
The Sylomer® microcellular polyurethane element provides effective vibration isolation and elastic decoupling from the supporting structure. Different Sylomer® grades are available to match the isolator performance to the required load.
A range of mounting configurations and accessories allows the hanger to be adapted to different installation requirements. The robust metal components are designed to withstand tensile loads from approximately 1,430 to 2,200 lb and feature a corrosion-resistant finish for long-term durability.
