The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Cylindrical Rubber Stops are elastic rubber elements designed to absorb impacts and limit the travel of moving parts or equipment.
Their flat contact surface provides an immediate response upon impact. The elastic deformation of the rubber helps to absorb impact energy and reduce the forces transmitted to the supporting structure.
Compared with rigid stops, they help to reduce impact forces, noise and mechanical stresses, protecting mechanical components and contributing to increased service life of the installation.
Thanks to their robust design and mounting base, Cylindrical Rubber Stops are particularly suitable for industrial machinery, mobile equipment and mechanisms subjected to heavy shocks, repeated impacts or end-of-travel contact.

The elastic buffers are made with a compound of rubber which permits major deformations with notable absorptions of energy. They can be made with high-damping rubber to order. The absorption of energy is performed thus, irreversibly and opposes the rebound phenomenon.
