The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® DSM Vibration Isolators are designed to apply a high level of pre-compression to the elastomer during installation. This characteristic provides a specific dynamic behavior, combining vibration isolation and stability within the same isolator.
Under normal operating conditions, their design provides effective isolation of vibrations generated by the equipment. When the system is subjected to shocks or high dynamic loads, the behavior of the isolator changes to provide greater motion control and improve the stability of the suspended equipment.
This combination of pre-compression, dual stiffness and motion control makes DSM Vibration Isolators particularly suitable for mobile machinery, vehicles, onboard equipment and industrial applications where vibration isolation and resistance to shocks are required simultaneously.
