The AKUSTIKABSORBER FAI range consists of panels manufactured from Type F fire-resistant polyurethane foam, with an aluminized fiberglass technical facing on the exposed surface. This configuration provides excellent fire performance together with high mechanical, thermal, and chemical resistance, making it an effective and durable acoustic isolation material for demanding industrial and technical environments.

The Type F foam core provides a certain degree of sound absorption, particularly at mid and high frequencies, while the aluminized fiberglass facing acts as a protective barrier against aggressive agents such as oils, splashes, and radiant heat. Although sound absorption is not its primary function, FAI provides an effective combination of protection and acoustic isolation, making it particularly suitable for applications requiring both fire safety and durability.

Thanks to its robust construction and technical finish, FAI is commonly used in acoustic enclosures, electrical cabinets, machinery rooms, technical enclosures, and ventilation ducts where a protected surface exposed to the environment and an effective acoustic barrier are required.
