FDM

The AKUSTIKABSORBER FDM is a multilayer acoustic panel combining sound absorption, airborne sound isolation, and a technical finish in a compact solution. It is particularly suitable for cab interiors, technical rooms, and applications where acoustic performance must be combined with a clean, professional appearance.

The panel consists of fire-resistant Type F polyurethane foam, a heavy mass layer bonded to the rear to improve airborne sound isolation, and a beige perforated PVC facing. The foam provides effective sound absorption at mid and high frequencies, while the heavy mass layer increases the surface mass of the system and helps reduce airborne sound transmission.

The perforated PVC facing protects the foam while allowing sound waves to reach the absorptive core. Its beige finish also provides a clean and professional appearance, making it particularly suitable for visible interior applications.

Thanks to this multilayer construction, FDM is particularly suitable for machinery cabs, industrial vehicles, control rooms, acoustic enclosures, and interior panels where a balance of sound absorption, sound isolation, fire performance, and appearance is required.
