The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® height adjustment and leveling kits are designed to provide precise leveling and alignment of machinery or marine engines installed on vibration isolators. They allow the height of each mounting point to be adjusted to compensate for differences in elevation and ensure proper equipment positioning.
Depending on the configuration, different hardware and mounting kits are available to match the vibration isolator, adjustment requirements and any thrust loads present in the installation.
For equipment requiring precise alignment, particularly engine-transmission assemblies, the vibration isolators should remain under load for at least 48 hours before final alignment, allowing the elastomer to stabilize.
A high-performance thread-locking adhesive may also be recommended on threaded connections to prevent loosening and improve installation security.
