AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Vibrabsorber isolators are open steel spring vibration isolators designed to provide a low natural frequency and highly effective isolation of low-frequency vibrations generated by machinery and equipment.
Thanks to the high deflection of the springs, they provide high levels of vibration isolation at low frequencies, particularly in applications where conventional elastomeric vibration isolators reach their performance limits. Their open design also facilitates installation and inspection of the springs.
As an option, Vibrabsorber isolators can incorporate a Sylomer® layer designed to reduce the transmission of medium- and high-frequency vibrations that may propagate through the steel springs. The spring + Sylomer® combination therefore extends the effective isolation frequency range and further reduces the transmission of vibrations and structure-borne noise to the supporting structure.
Vibrabsorber isolators are particularly suitable for fans, pumps, compressors, refrigeration units, HVAC equipment, and stationary industrial machinery requiring effective vibration isolation over a wide frequency range.
