The AKUSTIKABSORBER PSM is a multilayer acoustic panel developed for environments where, in addition to good acoustic performance, a dirt-resistant and easy-to-clean surface is required. It consists of a smooth polyethylene film facing, flexible polyurethane foam with sound-absorbing properties, and a heavy mass layer bonded to the rear, which improves airborne sound isolation.
The polyethylene facing provides a closed, impermeable, and easily washable surface, making PSM particularly suitable for industrial environments exposed to dust, grease, or moisture, where more porous materials could deteriorate or require intensive maintenance. The foam contributes to sound absorption, while the rear heavy mass layer increases the surface mass of the system and acts as an acoustic barrier, reducing airborne sound transmission.
PSM is particularly recommended for technical rooms, machinery rooms, acoustic enclosures, environments with high levels of contamination, and applications requiring frequent cleaning.
