AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Wire Rope Mounts are designed for applications requiring a high degree of isolation from vibration and shock, especially in mobile or severe environments such as off-road vehicles, onboard equipment, and railway systems. Manufactured from stainless steel wire rope, they provide high mechanical strength and exceptional performance in highly corrosive environments. The aluminum mounting bars reduce overall weight without compromising structural rigidity, while also improving the assembly’s corrosion resistance.
The mount design allows operation in both radial and axial directions, delivering multidirectional damping. During compression or tension movement, internal friction between wire strands dissipates energy, creating a damping effect that quickly stabilizes the suspended equipment. This technology provides a robust, maintenance-free, long-life solution for systems exposed to severe vibration, shock loads, and harsh environmental conditions.
