The Akustik R-Clip W50-70 + Sylomer® has been designed for the acoustic decoupling of ceilings using Omega-type metal profiles of various dimensions.

Unlike other acoustic hangers that require specific levelling profiles, the Akustik R-Clip W50-70 + Sylomer® adapts to Omega profiles of different widths without the need to change the hanger. Its designation refers to the width of the two coupling slots (50–70 mm). This structural adaptability allows for easier integration into a wide range of construction configurations, optimising installation time and reducing on-site errors.

Vibration and structure-borne noise isolation is achieved through Sylomer®, a proven technical material offering excellent acoustic performance and superior durability compared with traditional solutions such as rubber or cork. In addition, the metallic components of the system are engineered to withstand overloads and prevent failures – a key advantage in applications requiring fire resistance or impact resistance.
