Since 1969 AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® has pioneered the design and manufacture of Vibration Isolation Mountings for use on multiple world wide applications using reciprocal or rotating machinery where vibration is present .
In 1995 AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® designed and manufactured the vibration isolation system for the first Wind Turbine manufacturers in the world . Applications included the support of the Gearbox, Generator, Nacelles , Transformer and many other complimentary applications.
SINGLE FULLY BONDED BUSHING FOR 3 POINT DAMPING SYSTEM
These bushes are used for the suspension of the gearbox of turbines with 3 point suspension. The rubber is directly vulcanized into the metals creating a double bonded rubber to metal element with exceptional elastic properties.
They are usually installed press fitted into a closed gear mounting eye. There are different sizes and stiffness available as standard.
The parts can be produced in different sizes and hardnesses in order to tune the stiffness to the requirement of the turbine. The high quality natural rubber together with the double bonded construction, provide outstanding longevity to the element increasing considerably the retrofit period.
FULLY BONDED DOUBLE BUSHING FOR 3 POINT DAMPING SYSTEM
When high torques are expected a double bush support is installed for each torque arm. The bushes are fitted in their own metal housing. The rubber is directly vulcanized into the metals creating a double bonded rubber to metal element with exceptional elastic properties.
The mount is supplied assembled into a block that can be designed especially for each turbine in order to meet the dimensional and torque requirements of the application.

FULLY BONDED SPLITTED BUSHING FOR 3 POINT DAMPING SYSTEM
These parts have been developed for the suspensión of Gear boxes of wind turbines with three point systems. The advantage is the easy installation and retrofit of the parts when they are installed in a block divided in two parts, above and below the torque support.
The parts can be produced in different sizes and hardnesses in order to tune the stiffness to the requirement of the turbine.

MULTILAYER MOUNTS FOR TORQUE ARMS.
This system is used normally in turbines with 4 suspension points.
The main function of these mounts is the reduction of the dynamic torque transmission and structural-born noise isolation.
The torque arm is finished in a flat surface where traditional multilayer sandwich mounts are installed above and below the torque arm. Depending the torque and dimension of the turbine, the dimensions and number of layers of the sandwich mount can be very different.
We are able to tune the stiffness of the sandwich mount to meet the requirements of the gearbox.
There are several solutions for the metal structure that is used to hold the sandwich mounts into the torque arms. Solutions with the mounts under the torque arm have been developed in order to save space and reduce the dimensions of the metals.
