AMC Mecanocaucho® has been chosen to supply the Granab® technical floor to face the challenge of treating three multipurpose rooms with a total area of 327 m² located in a new building at the renowned Asterix Amusement Park in Paris.
INTRODUCTION
Parc Astérix is a theme park inspired by the famous French comic book series "Asterix". This dynamic park offers a thrilling blend of roller coasters, live shows and attractions, all set in the enchanting world of Asterix and his friends.
They are currently immersed in remodeling works, with new constructions designed to meet the current needs of the park directly related to the client's request. In this renewal process, AMC has been able to contribute its experience.
INFORMATION OF THE BUILDING
AMC Mecanocaucho has been chosen as the supplier of the Granab raised floor for three multipurpose rooms in one of the new buildings in the park. Across the three rooms there is a total combined surface area of 327m2 that have been treated. The main use of these rooms is expected to be for rehearsing performances and dances.
The problem with these types of rooms is usually the following:
Direct transmission of airborne noise through the ground.
Sound transmission through the façade.
Horizontal transmission of vibrations between adjoining rooms on a common slab.
Tactile perception of vibrations.
Generation of noise due to vibration of the light interior walls of the rooms.
For this reason, it is very important to separate the floor in order to avoid this type of transmission and ensure good acoustic isolation of the room.
As in other projects, AMC Mecanocaucho® has been following the process from the early project design phase all the way up to the installation.
AMC MECANOCAUCHO® assists in technical and acoustic consulting, as well as in the process of distribution, supply, and installation of the Granab® technical and acoustic floor in France.
In order to simplify the positioning of the profiles in the floor, AMC-MECANOCAUCHO uses the AutoCAD files to create a layout drawing; each profile is numbered and represented in the AutoCAD file.
In addition to this, a team of engineers from the company AMC has also traveled to the site to closely oversee the installation and ensure its flawless execution.
Granab® technical and acoustic flooring is an innovative system designed in Sweden to achieve quiet buildings with all the benefits of raised floors. The assembly principle follows a simple method that requires some instructions.
