At the Guttmann Institute Neurorehabilitation Hospital, a resiliently isolated floating slab was constructed to comply with the vibration limits established by Spanish Law 37/2003 on Noise for healthcare facilities.
The floating slab, isolated using 25 mm Sylomer® SR11, successfully reduced structure-borne vibration levels below the maximum limits required for hospital environments, ensuring a suitable environment for patient care and sensitive medical activities.
