Eccentric vibrating machinery provide installation challenges on buildings. The vibration levels disturb adjacent buildings/neighbours causing noise complains.
In order to reduce the level of vibration on the machinery it is advisable to install the machine with anti vibration mounts that provide a sufficiently low natural frequency, so a high degree of isolation is achieved. Eccentric machinery that rotate at low frequencies require anti vibration mounts that have low natural frequency to achieve a correct vibration isolation values. For this purpose, low stiffness is required.
8 different Air treatment centers were isolated on Vibrabsorber+Sylomer Spring mounts. The brand of the equipment was CIAT and the with weights close to 3100Kg each.
Following the requirements of the acoustic consultant, AVEL ACOUSTIQUE with headquarters in Paris the natural frequency of the suspension had to be sufficiently low to achieve a 98% of vibration isolation @ 1450 rpm
Due to these requirements low natural frequency spring mounts where used achieving natural frequencies below 3Hz. The selected Vibrabsorber +Sylomer Spring mounts where the model 4 VSH. More info:

The below calculation report shows the results of the CTA 02 BB-B with a deflection of 39,18mm per mount, providing a natural frequency of 2,59Hz.
The works were followed by our technical partner in Marseille, who assisted the installator of HVAC equipment and controlled the correct installation of our 4VSH Vibrabsorber+Sylomer® spring mounts. Pictures during the work are shown below.
