Cabin mounts
Anti-vibration mounts for the elastic suspension of mobile machinery cabins, designed to reduce vibration and structure-borne noise transmitted to the operator.
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Cabin Mounts are specifically designed to provide elastic suspension for cabins on mobile machinery subjected to vibration, shock and dynamic loads.
Their design decouples the cabin from the chassis, reducing the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise into the cabin. This isolation directly contributes to improving operator comfort, particularly during prolonged machine operation.
The high-resilience elastomer, bonded to the metal components, provides effective vibration isolation, with stiffness adapted to the loads and operating conditions of the cabin. The lower section incorporates an elastomeric lip working in tension, which limits excessive movement and provides mechanical retention of the cabin.
Thanks to their compact and robust design, these mounts provide an excellent balance between vibration isolation, comfort, stability and safety. They are particularly suitable for tractors, construction machinery, off-road vehicles, agricultural machinery and other mobile equipment.

Technical characteristics
This mount incorporates two annular shaped profiles in order to absorb dynamic loads or shocks. This feature is especially interesting for restricting the motion of the cabin under transient shocks.
The metal parts are corrosion protected to cope with arduous environments on land or marine applications RoHs compliant. The Cabin mount can be manufactured in various compounds and hardnesses for different Cabin weights. Our Technical Department can assist in the selection of the most suitable solution to be compliant wth ROPS tests on Construction and Agricultural Equipment .
The cabin mounts must be installed according to the following installation instructions:
- They can be installed in frames of different thicknesses according to the values of T, given in the table below. The load vs. deformation curves will vary depending on the thickness of the frame on which the mount is installed. This thickness "T" determines the degree of precompression of the mount.
- For the correct installation of the mount, it is recommended to make a hole in the frame with diameter Q, given in the table below.
- The use of washers is recommended in the event that the support surface does not completely cover the rubber surface.
- Respect the tightening torque of the mount.
- In case of any doubt, contact the technical department.
ANTI-REBOUND WASHER
This washer is mandatory to be a Fail-Safe System. The thickness of the washer depends on the application. Please contact us if you have any question. The Cab mounts 75 and 80 include an anti-rebound washer.
