Conical Vibration Isolators with Mounting Base
Conical vibration isolators with an integrated mounting base, designed for easy installation while providing effective vibration isolation and high robustness.
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Conical Vibration Isolators with Mounting Base are rubber-to-metal isolators in which the elastomer works in compression and shear, combining effective vibration isolation, stability, and movement control.
Their design combines a robust external metal casing with a concentric internal conical element. This geometry provides different stiffness characteristics along the different axes and stable performance under static and dynamic loads.
The integrated mounting base, provided with mounting holes, allows the isolator to be installed directly onto the chassis, providing a simple and reliable attachment of the equipment.
Thanks to their robust design, these vibration isolators are particularly suitable for engines, generator sets, auxiliary machinery, industrial vehicles, and mobile machinery subjected to vibrations, shocks, and demanding dynamic loads.
Technical characteristics
The cones with fixation flange from AMC-Mecanocaucho® were designed to offer excellent axial elasticity under heavy loads. The elastomer used is a low dynamic stiffness compound , which makes it possible to obtain low natural frequencies thus maintaining excellent stability of the suspended unit. The mounts radial stiffness is greater than the axial rate . This is particularly interesting for applications where horizontal stability needs to be maintained. The AMC-Mecanocaucho® Cone 100 mount is supplied with a height adjuster. This makes it possible to easily align transmission shafts without having to use additional accessories to do so. All models also incorporate an interlocking metal part that acts as a FAILSAFE system. Thanks to this, and to the ruggedness of the metal parts, this mount is suitable for applications where the suspended unit is submitted to great shocks.
