AT Vibration Isolators

Tubular flanged vibration isolators designed for effective vibration isolation of engines, compressors, and industrial machinery operating at medium and high frequencies.

The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® AT Vibration Isolators are specifically designed to provide effective vibration isolation at medium and high frequencies.

Their design consists of an elastomeric element bonded between two concentric tubular metal parts. The inner metal part consists of a cylindrical tube, while the outer metal part incorporates an integrated flange for direct attachment of the isolator to the supporting structure.

This configuration provides a robust and stable elastic connection, reducing the transmission of vibrations while maintaining good control of equipment movement.

AT Vibration Isolators are particularly suitable for engines, compressors, pumps, auxiliary units, and industrial machinery requiring a compact, robust, and easy-to-integrate vibration isolation system.

Technical characteristics

Type AT mounts have a radial to axial stiffness ratio of 4 : 1 thus providing good horizontal stability. They are manufactured in three rubber hardnesses to facilitate the selection of the most suitable mount , Soft: A 45, Medium: B 60 and Hard: C75.

Operation and Assembly

The AT type design uses the rubber in shear mode and ,to ensure optimum operation and life expectancy , it is recommended that a suitable washer design is used at each end to provide a progressive stiffness effect under load for the top section and rebound control in the case of overload conditions. When used with top and bottom washers as recommended the installations are then “Fail Safe” when bolted to the suspended equipment.

Suspensions built with this mount barely move, thanks to a geometry designed to control the movement of the suspended element.

High protection against weathering and chemical contamination

The bell housing protects the rubber from ozone and UV radiation, while also preventing contact with diesel, oils, or other chemicals that could damage it.

High robustness in dynamic applications for improved durability

These mounts offer enhanced robustness and are designed to withstand extreme load peaks. They are especially recommended when good durability is required in demanding applications.
