SCH Washer
ZnNi-coated steel safety washer for SCH vibration isolators, designed to limit movement under tensile and compressive loads and provide secure mechanical retention.
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® SCH Washer is specifically designed for use with SCH vibration isolators. It completes the mounting assembly and provides mechanical retention, particularly when the equipment is subjected to high tensile or compressive loads.
Its geometry helps limit excessive movement of the isolator while maintaining the elastic deformation required for effective vibration isolation. It therefore acts as a mechanical safety stop under high dynamic loads or shock conditions.
Manufactured from ZnNi-coated steel, the SCH Washer provides high corrosion resistance, making it particularly suitable for mobile and industrial applications operating in demanding environmental conditions.
Technical characteristics
The SCH mounts should be assembled according to the following installation instructions. There are two possible configurations, see previous assembly picture. They can be installed in plates of different thicknesses according to the Tmx and Tmin values given in the Table provided . The load vs deformation curves will vary according to the plate thickness in which the mount will be installed.
Washers should be used, if the rubber surface is not covered with the contact surface.
