The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Clamp vibration isolators are designed to provide both vibration isolation and mechanical restraint of machinery, particularly in applications subjected to significant dynamic loads.
The installation uses two isolators positioned on opposite sides of the frame: one between the machine foot and the frame, and the other underneath the frame. This arrangement allows the elastomeric elements to work primarily in compression, while also withstanding tensile loads and limiting equipment uplift or excessive movement.
The range includes different designs with vertical and horizontal stiffness characteristics adapted to the requirements of each application. This provides a good balance between vibration isolation, stability, and motion control, including applications subjected to alternating loads or multi-directional forces.
Clamp vibration isolators are particularly suitable for industrial machinery, mobile equipment, and installations subjected to shock or significant movement, where secure mechanical restraint is required in addition to vibration isolation.
