VD Vibration Isolators
High-deflection rubber-to-metal vibration isolators for machinery and equipment subjected to dynamic loads.
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® VD vibration isolators are rubber-to-metal isolators designed to provide high elasticity and effective vibration isolation. Their geometry allows the elastomer to work simultaneously in compression and shear, providing high deflection under load.
The isolator consists of two metal components bonded to an elastomeric element, forming a compact and rugged assembly. The integrated mounting points simplify installation on a wide range of machinery and equipment.
Thanks to their high deflection and low stiffness, VD vibration isolators provide low natural frequencies and effectively reduce vibration transmission to the supporting structure.
They are particularly suitable for rotating machinery, saildrive transmissions, generator sets, pumps, compressors and industrial equipment requiring high levels of vibration isolation without excessive equipment movement.
