Gym floors are exposed to repeated impact loads generated by free weights, fitness equipment, and sports activities. Without proper vibration isolation, these impacts can be transmitted through the building structure, generating impact noise and disturbing adjacent spaces.
AMC Mecanocaucho dry floor systems use Sylomer® to decouple the floor from the supporting structure, reducing impact transmission, improving acoustic comfort, and protecting the building from long-term dynamic loading.
Unlike traditional wet construction systems, dry floor construction does not require concrete or other permanent building work. This makes it an ideal solution for leased spaces, allowing the gym installation to be removed or relocated without altering the building structure.
