The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® 1 AMC Spring Isolator is designed for the vibration isolation of machinery and equipment incorporating rotating or reciprocating components, which may generate dynamic forces and vibration during operation.
The high elasticity of the steel spring enables natural frequencies from 3.5 to 8 Hz, providing effective low-frequency vibration isolation and reducing the dynamic forces transmitted to the supporting structure.
Reducing vibration transmission helps protect the machine and its components against dynamic stresses and fatigue, while limiting the propagation of vibration and structure-borne noise to adjacent structures.
Depending on the configuration, the spring isolator can incorporate a rubber or Sylomer® base, improving decoupling from the supporting structure and further reducing the transmission of frequencies that may propagate through the steel spring.
