The Akustik Lateral Acoustic Hanger is designed for the resilient suspension of acoustic ceilings and mechanical equipment, particularly where side mounting to a wall, beam, or other structural member is required.
The hanger incorporates the same high-performance elastomeric isolation element used throughout the Akustik range, specifically designed to reduce the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise. It is suitable for equipment operating above 1,000 rpm.
The robust steel bracket is designed to withstand loads of up to 1,433 lb and accommodates 1-1/2 × 1/2 in. ceiling channels. The metal components are zinc plated for corrosion protection and long-term durability.
