The EP 650 is a resilient mount designed to provide an acoustically decoupled connection for double independent wall assemblies at lateral junctions and connections with perpendicular walls.
Its specific geometry incorporates a metal bracket with a 90° return, allowing lateral attachment to the adjacent wall. The different parts of the mount are connected by resilient rubber elements, providing mechanical stability without creating a rigid connection between the structures.
This design helps limit the formation of acoustic bridges at wall junctions and reduces the transmission of vibrations and structure-borne sound between adjacent walls.
