The EP 650 is a resilient mount designed to provide an acoustically decoupled connection for double independent wall assemblies at lateral junctions and connections with perpendicular walls.
Its specific geometry incorporates a metal bracket with a 90° return, allowing lateral attachment to the adjacent wall. The different parts of the mount are connected by resilient rubber elements, providing mechanical stability without creating a rigid connection between the structures.
This design helps limit the formation of acoustic bridges at wall junctions and reduces the transmission of vibrations and structure-borne sound between adjacent walls.
The EP 650 is particularly suitable for double independent wall assemblies, studios, rehearsal rooms, mechanical rooms, and soundproofing projects incorporating changes in direction or more complex wall configurations.
