AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Sandwich Mounts are designed to provide a balanced combination of high vertical stiffness and high lateral elasticity, ensuring excellent vibration isolation in equipment subjected to high static loads. Their construction consists of two metal plates bonded to an intermediate layer of high-quality natural rubber, allowing the elastomer to operate in pure compression, increasing overall vertical stiffness and load capacity.
In certain versions, the mounts incorporate additional intermediate plates that further increase vertical stiffness without affecting elastomer performance in shear, maintaining high lateral flexibility to optimize vibration isolation.
