The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® TF vibration isolators consist of two symmetrically shaped molded elastomer elements, designed to operate effectively under both tensile and compressive loads, with similar stiffness characteristics in both directions.
The pre-compressed installation enables the isolator to maintain controlled elastic behavior when the direction of the load changes, making it particularly suitable for equipment subjected to vibration, shock, and multidirectional dynamic loads.
The two elements are assembled with metal safety washers, creating a fail-safe configuration that limits excessive movement and provides mechanical retention of the equipment under severe loading conditions.
The level of pre-compression is determined by the frame thickness at the mounting point. Correct sizing provides an optimum balance between vibration isolation, stability, and mechanical safety.
