NEW VIBRABSORBER VSX + SYLOMER®, 3“ (76MM) DEFLECTION ANTISEISMIC SPRING MOUNTS WITH BUILT IN PRECOMPRESION FEATURE.
V-SX preloadable anti-seismic mounts are spring anti-vibration mounts that offer very low stiffness with deflections up to 76mm and frequencies up to 2Hz. Thanks to their reinforced metal parts, V-SX preloadable anti-seismic mounts can withstand shocks caused by seismic events. In addition, they incorporate a preload system for those cases where the part needs to be installed pre-compressed.
The specific design of the V-SX Preloadable Anti-Seismic anti-vibration mount allows these anti-vibration mounts to offer excellent vibration isolation in seismic areas.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
Following the current design of the rest of AMC MECANOCAUCHO® anti-seismic anti-vibration mounts, the external reinforcement is equipped with elastomeric stops to prevent metal-to-metal contact that could occur in side collisions.
The supports also incorporate anti-traction screws that prevent the support from disassembling in case of traction forces when the machine is being transported with the built-in supports. The supports are also equipped with a Sylomer base, which allows isolating the medium and high frequencies that are transferred through the metal spring itself.
In addition, this new support incorporates a preload system for those cases where height is a problem during the installation of suspended equipment. The preload system allows pre-compressing the springs thus reducing the total height of the support.
APPLICATIONS
V-SX Preloadable Anti-seismic anti-vibration mounts are used in applications where the excitation frequency is very low, or a high level of vibration isolation is required in seismic zones. Typical applications can be HVAC equipment, generator sets, ventilation systems or pumps.
The correct installation of these anti-vibration mounts will optimize the soundproofing results.
