Case study: AMC-MECANOCAUCHO type AKUSTIK PIPE+Sylomer® anti vibration mounts for Hydraulic hose clamps.

A recent test realized on an off road vehicle proves the performance of the AMC-MECANOCAUCHO AKUSTIK PIPE+Sylomer® elastic clamps. A reduction of 2dB(A) in airborne noise was measured in real working conditions.

These anti vibration mounts were tested following the 2000/14/EG standard. Same vehicle was tested using rigid clamps holding the hydraulic piping system.

A reduction of airborne noise from 105,5dB(A) to 103,1 dB(A) was measured when replacing the rigid clamps with AMC-MECANOCAUCHO AKUSTIK PIPE+Sylomer® elastic clamps.

The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO AKUSTIK PIPE+Sylomer® elastic clamps reduce clearly the excitation transmitted to the vehicle by the Hydraulic drive pumps.
