AMC Mecanocaucho launches two new R&D projects with the support of the HAZITEK programme

AMC Mecanocaucho continues to strengthen its commitment to innovation with the development of two new R&D projects supported by the HAZITEK programme. These initiatives focus on acoustic measurement and on improving vibration isolation in high-demand machinery.

The AMCSONO and SAM-RUB projects respond to real market needs and share a common objective: to move towards more precise, more connected and more efficient systems.

AMCSONO: more accessible acoustic measurement

The AMCSONO project focuses on the development of an innovative and cost-effective sound level meter capable of performing reliable acoustic measurements through a compact device connected to a mobile application. Once the measurement has been carried out, the application will allow the simulation of the attenuation obtained with the different solutions proposed by AMC and will help select the most appropriate one according to the results of this simulation.

SAM-RUB: semi-active anti-vibration mounts

SAM-RUB is a project focused on the development of a semi-active rubber-metal anti-vibration mount intended for construction and agricultural machinery. Its objective is to improve vibration isolation in equipment operating under variable conditions, where dynamic excitations change depending on the operating regime, load or type of operation.

The system allows the damping properties of the mount to be modified depending on the selected operating mode, adapting its dynamic behaviour to different machine operating conditions. In this way, the anti-vibration mount can be configured to provide the most appropriate level of isolation in each operating situation.

Thanks to this adjustment capability, SAM-RUB mounts make it possible to optimise the anti-vibration performance of the system in different working scenarios, reducing the transmission of vibrations to the structure, improving operating comfort and increasing the durability of mechanical components.
