Its specific design allows very similar traction and compression stiffness rates. This feature is particularly useful on those applications where vibration in the vertical sense is predominant. The metal parts are robust and can be supplied with a washer that acts as a fail-safe device in order to resist traction forces.

Technical characteristics

The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® type NP antivibration mounts has a double bonded design to withstand to high dynamic forces. The dome shaped rubber design of this antivibration mount allows a progressive stiffness when overloading. This fact allows to limit the movement of the suspended element.

Traditionally vertical symetric stiffness mounts are composed of 2 pcs one is installed supporting the load and the other is supporting rebound forces. In this case this mount is composed of one single part and provides low costs and an easy installation.

Applications

The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® type NP antivibration mounts are used on mobile applications that are exposed to compression and traction forces, for example mounting on board equipment in ships, rail, road transport such as engines, pumps, generator sets, or even tractor cabs.
