
NEW AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® TYPE CB 40. A FAILSAFE ANTI VIBRATION MOUNT WITH VERTICAL SYMMETRIC STIFFNESS AND MULTIAXIAL SNUBBER WITH HIGH SPEC CORROSION PROTECTION.
Its specific design allows very similar traction and compression stiffness rates. This feature is particularly useful on those applications where vibration and transient forces are coming from multiple axis and a constant natural stiffness is required. The metal parts are robust and can be supplied with a washer that acts as a fail-safe device in order to resist traction forces. Empty air slots allow lower natural frequencies in vertical and horizontal Stiffness. Equipped with built in axial and radial buffers, these anti vibration mounts can provide high stability suspended elements.
Metal parts treated with Zinck Nickel coating + covered with rubber. This feature allows them to have high protection to salt spray test chamber.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® type CB-40 antivibration mounts have a double bonded design to withstand to high dynamic forces. The dome shaped rubber design of this anti vibration mount allows a progressive stiffness when overloading. This fact allows limiting the movement of the suspended element.
The symmetric stiffness is achieved with 2 pcs that are vertically opposite. One is installed supporting the load and the other is supporting rebound forces. The graphic below show the typical load deflection behaviour in compression and tension.

APPLICATIONS
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® type CB-40 antivibration mounts thanks to their design allows them to work for suspended electrical cabinets in shear with long lasting and stable stiffness over the time.
The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® type CB-40 antivibration mounts can also beused on mobile applications that are exposed to compression and traction forces, for example, mounting on board equipment in ships, rail, road transport such as engines, pumps, generator sets..
