These solutions help reduce airborne and structure-borne noise transmission between machinery spaces, accommodation areas and other parts of the vessel, improving acoustic comfort on board.
The solution combines sound insulation materials to reduce airborne noise transmission with structural decoupling systems using Sylomer®. In floor applications, the elastic material is integrated between the supporting structure and the floor layers, helping to limit the transmission of vibrations and structure-borne noise.
