he FIXING PIN + MARINE CAP system is a mechanical fixing solution designed to provide secure and durable installation of acoustic foams and panels, particularly in environments where adhesive performance may be affected by temperature, humidity, vibration or gravity.
The system consists of a metal base with a central fixing pin, attached to the supporting surface using screws or a structural adhesive. The acoustic foam is positioned over the pin and secured with a protective marine-type cap, which covers the end of the pin, improves the finish and helps prevent tearing or mechanical damage to the material.
Even when acoustic panels are supplied with a high-strength self-adhesive backing, additional mechanical fixing is particularly recommended for vertical, overhead or inverted installations, as well as applications exposed to demanding operating conditions. The system is particularly suitable for cabins, machinery enclosures, ceilings, engine compartments, marine and railway applications.
