AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® 4 AMC Anti-Seismic Spring Mounts incorporate four high-deflection steel springs, allowing them to support high loads whilst providing effective low-frequency vibration isolation.
The four-spring configuration increases the load capacity whilst maintaining the vertical flexibility required to achieve a low natural frequency and reduce the transmission of vibration from the machine to the supporting structure.
Under normal operating conditions, the springs have the freedom of movement required for effective vibration isolation. Under exceptional or seismic loads, an integrated seismic restraint system limits excessive equipment movement and helps maintain its mechanical integrity.
This design is particularly suitable for heavy equipment incorporating moving or rotating components, including fans, pumps, compressors, refrigeration units, generator sets and HVAC equipment, where high load capacity, low-frequency vibration isolation and seismic protection are required.
