The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® VT-HD anti-vibration spring hanger is designed for the suspension of heavy suspended ceilings and equipment requiring a high level of low-frequency vibration isolation.
Its high-deflection spring, with a deflection of up to 50 mm (2 inches), allows natural frequencies down to 3 Hz to be achieved, effectively reducing the transmission of vibration and structure-borne noise to the supporting structure.
The high-performance spring provides a stable elastic response under load, while the robust hanger design allows high loads to be supported whilst maintaining high vertical flexibility.
The VT-HD range is particularly suitable for installations requiring a combination of high load capacity, large deflection and very low-frequency vibration isolation.

The metallic structure is very robust and it is supplied with an anti-corrosive zinc-plated coat.
The assembly of this hanger is very simple, as it can be directly fastened to the ceiling through its top hole and a stud bolt can be directly fastened to the nut placed over the spring.
AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® VT HD Hangers, due to their low stiffness, are able to reach natural frequencies from 2 to 5Hz, and are specially suitable for applications where high isolation level is required.

The hanger has a clearance that allows the threaded rod to swing within a 35° angle envelope to absorb irregularities in the ceiling.
