The AMC-MECANOCAUCHO® Elastic Coupling is a flexible torque transmission element made of reinforced rubber, designed to connect two shafts or flanges while absorbing angular, radial, and axial misalignments, as well as torsional vibrations and torque shocks.
Its typical construction consists of a rubber annular piece, with internal or external reinforcements (usually with metal inserts or synthetic fabrics) and peripheral fixing holes that allow installation using screws or studs. This configuration provides a high flexibility combined with torque transmission capacity, making it a robust, quiet, and maintenance-free solution.
It is particularly useful in transmissions where abrupt starts and stops occur, or where there is some misalignment between shafts that could damage a conventional rigid coupling. It is widely used in special vehicles, agricultural machinery, compressors, fans, and industrial equipment.
