The EP 500 is a resilient rubber mount designed for the acoustic decoupling of independent wall linings and acoustic linings at floor level, preventing rigid contact with the supporting structure.
The metal track is fixed directly to the upper part of the mount, while a resilient rubber element provides acoustic decoupling from the floor. Its design also keeps the plasterboard separated from the floor, helping to prevent the formation of acoustic bridges.
The EP 500 reduces the transmission of vibrations and structure-borne sound between the wall lining and the building structure. Its simple design facilitates installation and provides continuous acoustic decoupling along the base of the wall system.
