The AKUSTIKABSORBER FAI30M range represents an advanced development in fire-resistant acoustic isolation materials, designed for environments requiring maximum sound attenuation, together with excellent fire resistance and durability under demanding operating conditions. Its multilayer structure has been carefully designed to optimise acoustic performance across the entire frequency range.
The panel consists of a high-strength, fire-resistant aluminised glass fibre technical facing, followed by a first 25 mm layer of type F fire-resistant foam, a high-density intermediate heavy mass layer (5 kg/m²) and a second 5 mm layer of F foam on the rear. This sandwich configuration provides a dual action: sound absorption on the exposed face and dissipation of sound energy through the combined effect of the foam layers and central heavy mass.
FAI30M has been specifically developed for critical applications such as high-performance acoustic enclosures, control rooms, power compartments, technical cabins and electrical enclosures, where maximum sound isolation is required within a limited thickness, without compromising fire performance or durability in industrial environments.
